CLEVELAND -- Jennie Finch, perhaps the most recognized name in the history of women's fastpitch softball, will be at Baldwin-Wallace College, Friday and Saturday to conduct a pitching

and hitting clinic. She will be the guest of Explosive Fastpitch, a Strongsville-based instructional entity whose founder is Jeanette Howard, a former four-year pitcher at Baldwin-Wallace and Strongsville's current coach.

Finch, who was a superstar at La Mirada (Calif.) High School and the University of Arizona,

pitches for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch League. She also has been a
