Six days after Jackson’s death, plans for a funeral, or a memorial, rumored to be held at neverland Ranch, in Santa Barbara County, have not been finalized.
Sgt. Erik Raney, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department: “We haven’t been approached,
Michael Jackson
nobody told us there will be a motorcade, or memorial service, but we do want to be prepared if that does happen.“
Video has also emerged of Jackson leaving his dermatologist’s office the week before he suddenly died. It was at this time the singer was so desperate to sleep, a registered nurse says Jackson begged her for a powerful sedative even though she warned him of its potential danger. She refused…but then received an aide’s frantic call, 4 days before Jackson suffered cardiac arrest.

Cherilyn Lee, registered nurse: “He said ‘Michael needs to see you right away, can you come and see him?‘ And, I said, ‘what’s wrong?‘ And, I could hear Michael in the background: ‘Tell her. Tell her that one side of my body is hot, is hot, and one side of my body is cold, it’s very cold.‘“
Cherilyn Lee says she was worried because Michael did not go to the hospital, and the symptoms he described seemed life-threatening.

Lee: “At that point, I knew that somebody had given him something that hit that central nervous system because, you know, that’s all he wanted, was to sleep. But he was in trouble.“
T.J. Winick, reporting: “According to medical experts, the sedative Jackson had been asking for, Diprivan, is normally administered in a hospital, intravenously, and can lead to cardiac arrest.“
